Program Description:
The program provides instruction and research in merchandising systems. Students select one of the following major areas of specialization: consumer behavior, human resource management, or international merchandising management. The consumer behavior area deals with the relationship of purchase behavior to effective merchandising management. The human resource area focuses on the importance of people as a resource in a merchandising operation. The international merchandising area permits students to relate domestic to international merchandising management.
