Program Description:

The Department of Communication offers programs leading to the Master of Arts or a PhD degree in Communication. The Masters of Communication students pursue one of two tracks of study: a thesis track that emphasizes scholarly training or a final examination track that emphasizes a practical approach. The Ph.D. program is a research and teaching degree. The program places a strong emphasis on preparing the student to teach in a variety of contexts at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
