Program Description:

The goal of our department is to offer research and instructional opportunities in the emerging, important areas of Chemistry while maintaining a program rooted in the basics of the discipline. We believe that students who cross-train in graduate school and who bridge the gap between traditional areas will be those with the skills and knowledge for successful careers at the leading edge of science.
