MS - Master of Science, Nursing (for non-nurse college graduates, as well as RNs with a bachelor's, Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), CAS - Post-Master's Certificate of Advanced Study

Program Description:

The full-time entry-level program is designed for students who hold a bachelor's degree in any field and prepares them as advanced practice nurses eligible to sit for the nurse practitioner or clinical nurse specialist certification exam in their area of specialty. RNs with a bachelor's degree may enroll part-time to achieve advanced practice preparation. The CAS is for nurses who wish to gain additional specialty skills or become eligible for nurse practitioner certification. The Institute is an independent, accredited graduate school affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital.
