Program Description:
Metropolitan State University's Doctor of Nursing Practice program gives you the advanced clinical, organizational, economic, and leadership skills you need in an increasingly complex healthcare environment. This post-master's program is offered as a collaborative program part-time, through a consortium of four universities: Metropolitan State University, Minnesota State University Mankato, Minnesota State University Moorhead and Winona State University.
The program also:
• Focuses on the application of knowledge needed for increasingly complex roles in practice, teaching, and leadership.
• Is an online program that teaches you, the advanced practice nurse, how to translate research into clinical practice, how to lead at the organizational level, and how to influence population health and policy development.
• Prepares you to serve in practice leadership roles in a variety of settings such as management of quality initiatives, executives in healthcare organizations, directors of clinical programs, and faculty responsible for clinical program delivery and clinical teaching.
