Program Description:

This unique, three-semester-long MPA can be completed in just one year. The program of study and practice has been designed specifically for working professionals with some related experience in a public agency, not-for-profit or profit-making setting, and provides the student with the skills necessary to enhance the organization's efficiency through applied learning. Each semester is 15 weeks long, and concentrates on an area essential to building leadership careers in public service. A dynamic faculty combined with field experience in New York City makes Metropolitan College of New York an ideal institution in which to embark on your career in public service.

This accelerated program integrates the College's Purpose-Centered System of Education, which provides students with the opportunity to use the knowledge they gain in their studies to take positive action in the organization where they are employed. Students earn credit for these hours, thereby making it possible to work part-time or full-time while attending classes full-time.
