Program Description:
Merrimack College offers quality and innovative programs of study leading to a masters degree in education (M.Ed.).
To accommodate the working student, courses are offered on campus late afternoon and early evenings. Courses are offered in summer, fall, spring, and winter terms. Admission to the Graduate program is on a rolling basis.
In additional to full- or part-time programs, Merrimack College offers a limited number of Fellowship programs that provide students with a tuition-free Fellowship and real hands-on experience in their area of interest. Accreditation:
The School of Education offers multiple licensure programs that have been approved by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and the Interstate Certification Compact of the National Association of State Directors of Teachers Education. Students are able to receive reciprocal teaching licenses in more than 45 states. Please refer to the DESE's website and each state's requirements for exact terms of reciprocity.
