You’ll get professional certification with the 36-credit Master of Science in Childhood Education, Grades 1-6. Pursuing multiple certificates in Early Childhood Education or Students with Disabilities will require additional classes and field experiences.

Students seeking an initial certificate in Childhood Education must complete the School of Education comprehensive examination prior to graduation. Professional certification requires an initial certificate and three years of teaching experience.
