Program Description:

At MIT, the term Media Arts and Sciences signifies the study, invention, creative use, and understanding of technologies that will enhance the medium we inhabit. The field is currently rooted in modern communications and the computer and cognitive sciences, drawing heavily upon design and the expressive arts.
