Program Description:

The mission of the Master of Business Administration program is to instruct students in the function areas of business. Considered a flagship generalist degree in business, the program is meant for students who desire a broad understanding of business and how it relates to the social, political, and economic forces confronting it. Students with a non-business bachelor's degree benefit greatly from an MBA by gaining practical knowledge of theories learned in their undergraduate studies.

A Master of Business Administration is highly desirable in today's profit, non-profit, and government workforce. More than half of students studying for an MBA have no undergraduate courses in business. However, there are prerequisite business courses required for this type of student. Madonna University's MBA requires 31 core semester hours and a Certificate of Completion requiring 9-16 semester hours of credit. Students walk away with a generalist knowledge of business and a specialty in their chosen academic area.
