Program Description:

In collaboration with the National Measurement Institute and the National Association of Testing Authrities Australia, the Department of Chemistry and Biomolecular Sciences offers this Master program to train and equip graduates with the familiarity and understanding of the increasingly stringent rules and requirements in advanced chemical laboratory quality assurance and management.

The program provides practical experience and knowledge in chemical analysis increasingly demanded by prospective employers in commercial testing laboratories.

A degree program suitable for laboratory managers, supervisors and analysts involved in any measurement science. The program was developed in collaboration with the National Measurement Institute and the National Association of Testing Authorities, the two national authorities in measurement science in Australia. Key units of study in analytical measurement uncertainty, analytical method validation and laboratory quality systems, supported by a range of advanced units in chemistry, biotechnology and statistics.
