Program Description:
This program provides graduates with an in-depth understanding of environmental law in its own right and within a broad interdisciplinary framework. Its learning outcomes include fostering understanding of environmental governance and knowledge of a variety of issues arising in environmental law, locally, nationally, regionally and internationally (ranging from climate change, biodiversity, pollution, marine and water law, heritage law and policy, conservation and planning); cultivating discipline-specific and experiential skills; and learning how law intersects and connects with other relevant discipline areas, such as science, politics, economics.
