Internationally, Econometrics means the statistical analysis of economic data. In the Netherlands, the term Econometrics also includes Operations Research (OR) and mathematical economics. The OR analyst supports organizations in the effective use of money, materials, equipment, and people by applying mathematical optimization methods in automation, production, logistics, investment, financial planning, strategic planning and marketing.
