Program Description:
Integrating theory and practice through research and practicum experiences, the M.S. in applied psychology program also features a cohort model that encourages group interaction with three classes offered per term on two evenings each week. The Psychology Department at Lynn University is engaged in collaborative research with Pennsylvania State University's Prevention Research Center: Alcohol & Skin Cancer Projects, giving our graduate students the opportunity to work on this national research project while enrolled in the graduate program in applied psychology. Upon completing your degree, you will be qualified to teach at the community college level, or enter a doctoral program. You will have mastery of theories, skills and interventions and competencies in psychopathology, consultation, ethics, research and developmental and multicultural issues.
