Program Description:
Loyola's Graduate Accounting Certificate program is hyper-tuned to offer rigorous, fully comprehensive coursework and graduate-level credits that meet the demands of CPA licensing authorities; the expectations of hiring employers; and even the most rigid of schedules—with 12 course credits earned in just 11 weeks.
The Graduate Accounting Certificate program builds on the undergraduate accounting curriculum to provide graduate-level competence in the more advanced aspects of the field while providing additional hours toward meeting the 150-credit-hour requirements of most state CPA licensing authorities.
The program, which is applicable to those pursuing public accounting work in private or governmental organizations, was developed and vetted in consultation with Loyola's Accounting Advisory Board, comprised of a substantial number of highly respected accounting professionals, and addresses four important areas of the current environment for accounting professionals—dramatically enhancing the opportunity for career advancement.
