Program Description:

The program is designed for those students who already have certification in childhood education or elementary education and are seeking to extend their scope of knowledge and expertise in the fieldof special education ( grades 1-6). This 37 credit master's degree prepares teachers with the knowledge and skills to work with the growing population of special needs and learning disabled students. The program leads to New York State Professional certification. Adolescence Special Education Advanced Certificate is also available.
