Program Description:

This M.S.Ed. degree fully prepares students to obtain provisional NYS Certification as School Psychologists. The program teaches the knowledge and skills necessary for today's practice of school psychology in diverse environments. Students may elect to take courses to qualify for the Bilingual Extension which is designed to train bilingual psychologists to work with linguistically diverse children and their families. Upon completion of a two-year supervised work experience, students are eligible for permanent certification. Although the program is designed to be completed in three years, full-time and part-time study is possible.
