Program Description:
The LIU Rockland Graduate Campus Childhood Education Program (Grades 1-6) provides a high quality education for teachers who want to earn New York State certification. The Childhood Education Program in Rockland meets the highest standards in curriculum and instruction. Each course is taught by experienced educators who provide insight into the latest teaching approaches. Students may have any undergraduate degree but must meet the New York State teacher certification requirements to be eligible for certification. The program include two semester of supervised student teaching at a local elementary school.
