Program Description:
The M.S. Ed. in Adolescence Education is a 33 credit Master's Degree Program that leads to initial certification in New York State and New Jersey in grades 7-12. The Adolescence Education Program prepares change-of-career professionals for the highly fulfilling career of teaching at the intermediate and high school levels. The program provides a thorough developmental and theoretical framework while exploring the various methods of teaching English, mathematics, social studies, or one of the sciences (biology, chemistry, earth science and physics).
