M.A. - Family Studies, Ph.D. - Family Studies

Format: Campus

Program Description:

The M.A. or Ph.D. in family studies programs offered at Loma Linda University by the Department of Counseling and Family Sciences are designed to prepare professionals to work in applied settings such as family services agencies, schools, churches, and other community-based programs, as well as in private practice. The programs support the standard curriculum of the National Council on Family Relations (NCFR) and prepare graduates to become certified family life educators (CFLE). Graduation from Loma Linda's programs guarantees quick processing of the application for this credential. Earning the CFLE credential is desirable since many agencies and educational institutions require this certification when considering potential employees.
