Program Description:
The Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership is designed to provide professionals in profit and non-profit organizations with a set of essential competencies to lead in a complex, changing environment. Leadership in the 21st century requires a systems approach to understanding and managing processes and people to effect change.
This is a program for people who are ready to enter into the process of personal change that will enhance their ability to bring growth to their organizations. We value personal and organizational performance that is optimal. We believe in both personal and organizational transformation to talking with you about coming into our graduate program. This is a very good place to be.
This program was developed for people whose primary workplace responsibility involves managing people. This graduate program is firmly focused on the human-side of the workplace and draws from the disciplinary areas of Psychology, Sociology, Political Science and Communications.

Lewis University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and a member of the North Central Association.
Eligibility Requirements:
1.Hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
2.Maintain an undergraduate grade point average of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) in the last 60 undergraduate hours, or possess a cumulative GPA of 3.0 based upon the completion of two 3-credit hour leadership graduate courses at Lewis University with no grade lower than B.
3.Complete a graduate application form, accompanied by a non-refundable application fee.
4.Submit complete official transcripts from accredited institutions previously attended.
5.Meet with the Program Director for a personal interview to discuss the student’s goals and to set up a planned sequence of courses.
6.Be accepted by the Graduate Council of the College of Arts and Sciences. (Students will be informed in writing of the decision of the Graduate Council.)
