Program Description:
This licensure program is designed for students with undergraduate degrees in disciplines other than liberal arts and sciences education who wish to become teachers of children in elementary grades 1-6. It consists of a core of courses, along with field experiences in which theory is applied in classroom settings. Students may pursue the program on a part-time or full-time basis, during the week in the evening on campus or at various locations off campus in a weekend format.
