Program Description:
The Master of Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction (C&I) with a specialization in Literacy: Language, Reading and Writing trains experienced elementary, middle, and high school teachers to be aware of a range of issues and ideas, and to use a variety of methods and strategies that are central to teaching students to read, write, speak, and listen across the grades. The core C&I coursework integrates strands such as technology, classroom equity, inclusion of students with special needs, curriculum development and assessment, classroom inquiry, and collaboration.Additional locations in Dothan, Evergreen, Hamilton, Huntsville, Livingston, Mobile, Montgomery.
