Program Description:

Leiden University offers ample opportunity to study Middle Eastern languages and cultures in a variety of contexts and combinations. For this reason a combined Middle Eastern Studies Research Master's programme at Leiden University is attractive to students with a wide range of backgrounds and with greatly differing objectives. Leiden University has a particularly suitable infrastructure for the study of the ancient and contemporary cultures of the Middle East. This includes various library facilities and the famous collections of Oriental manuscripts and archaeological objects.
