Program Description:

Landegg's MA degree in Conflict Resolution is based on a developmental model of conflict. Integral to this developmental model are the concepts of unity in diversity, the collective growth of humanity, and the interdependent nature of individual and group interests and needs. This model replaces the notion that human beings and groups are inherently conflict-oriented and that their interests are fundamentally competitive, with an understanding of humans that is based on the notion of inter-dependence and the capacity for unity. It emphasizes the significance of consultation, justice, love and commonality of interests as important vehicles for conflict resolution. Each course consists of a week of intensive study.
