The syllabus covers: an introduction to the Treaties, including the EC institutions and legislative procedures; free movement of goods and people (including citizenship); freedom of establishment; freedom to provide services; free movement of capital and Economic and Monetary Union; competition law; social policy; environmental law; external relations; judicial review of EC law, including liability of EC institutions; enforcement of EC law with regard to the protection of an individual's rights in national courts and to the applicable procedures; research methods.
