Program Description:

The Department of English offers courses of study leading to both the Master of Arts (M.A.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees. M.A. students may select one of four courses of study: the Concentration in Literature and Writing, the Concentration for Teachers, the Concentration in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL), and the Concentration in Comparative Literature.
