Program Description:

The Communications Department offers an interdisciplinary program leading to a Master of Arts Degree in Communication Management. It provides an opportunity for advanced course work in communications, combined with selected, related course work in the Boler School of Business. The program is designed to develop a knowledge of and competency in the management process while stimulating an awareness of ethical theories and the processes of making ethical decisions in the work environment.
Its focus is to guide the student toward appropriate knowledge and rigorous analytical skills to assume leadership roles in the professions or to prepare them for further graduate studies. The program offers specialization in two major areas of communications: Public Relations or Television.
