Program Description:

This program is designed for students who intend to pursue advanced study and research in the branches of Japanese literature, Japanese linguistics, and Chinese thought after having graduated with a baccalaureate degree from an accredited university. The aim of this program is to impart students with advanced knowledge of their major and to develop their faculties for research under the guidance of well-qualified professors.
Doctoral Program

This program consists of several branches of learning, including Japanese literature, Japanese linguistics, and Chinese thought. The objective of this program is to provide students with in-depth knowledge regarding their major, and to develop their higher faculties for pursuing their own studies as independent scholars. Students will be awarded a doctoral degree in literature upon completion of am approved dissertation and in passing a comprehensive examination .
