Program Description:

The intensive JEMBA program provides management training within the broader cultural, macroeconomic and political context governing international business in Japan. The curriculum includes a core of MBA courses: financial accounting, business strategy, marketing and information technology. You'll take these core courses as a member of a cohort comprised of both JEMBA and CHEMBA (China-focused MBA) students. Then, as a JEMBA student, you'll receive rigorous business language and communication instruction in Japanese and advanced courses in international business that focus on Japan. The final three months of JEMBA encompass a unique experience—the intercultural internship. This internship involves full-time work in Japan at a company or organization where the business knowledge and communications skills learned in the classroom are applied in an intercultural setting.
