Program Description:
The mission of the James Madison University Physician Assistant Program is to provide educational opportunities for students to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to function as excellent primary care physician assistants, serving the medical needs of the Commonwealth and society including rural and medically underserved areas of the Commonwealth and the region. The course of study requires 24 consecutive months of classes for students who have met the prerequisite requirements and been admitted to the program.
