Program Description:

The Educational Specialist degree program in community counseling includes the common core courses for the Master of Arts in psychology, other courses required for accreditation and licensure, and electives to meet individual needs and interests. The Master of Arts degree in psychology is awarded only after completion of all Educational Specialist degree requirements. This program provides the academic and applied training necessary for individuals seeking employment as conselors in community agencies, psychiatric facilities or private practice.
