Program Description:

The Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) with a concentration in Secondary Education degree is designed to allow candidates to meet requirements for a license to teach students of grades 6-12 in the public schools of Virginia. The Master of Education (M.Ed.) with a concentration in Secondary Education degree is designed to provide advanced preparation for teachers and other school personnel who are already eligible for or hold initial teaching licenses. The M.Ed. program in Secondary Education is not accepting new students at this time.
