The Master of Sport and Exercise Science by research consists of research undertaken for preparation of a thesis. Students choose a research project in any area relevant to contemporary sport and exercise science including exercise physiology, clinical exercise physiology, exercise testing and prescription, sport and exercise psychology, motor learning and control, sport and exercise biomechanics, and exercise rehabilitation.
Projects may be undertaken in one of the ISES research areas (endurance sport, physical activity and aging, human performance in heat and humidity and ocean sports).
All projects are subject to the approval by the Director of the Institute of Sport and Exercise Science and the availability of appropriate supervisors.
