Program Description:

The Department of Landscape Architecture offers the opportunity for advanced, specialized study in natural and cultural resource planning and design. Department faculty have expertise in regional landscape analysis,vegetation resource planning, landscape planning for wildlife, landscape architectural history, cultural landscape analysis, landscape preservation, mining reclamation and mitigation, community design, and sustainable design practices. Special emphasis is placed on regional sustainable planning and design issues and concerns.
