Program Description:

The APA accredited doctoral program in counseling psychology at Iowa State University provides broad-based education and training in the science and practice of counseling and psychotherapy. It is appropriate for students with academic or applied career goals. Unique features of the ISU Counseling Psychology Program are small enrollment, supervised experiences in counseling centers, mental health agencies, and hospitals throughout the program, close working relationships with faculty members, participation in faculty research programs leading to jointly authored publications, and assistantship support for nearly all students.
