Program Description:

Are you interested in a leadership career in community development and non-profit management? Do you have a lifelong commitment to service? Do you want your work to provide meaning and personal growth?
The IPSL Masters in International Development and Service, an interdisciplinary degree granted from Concordia University in Portland, Oregon, is an 20-month full-time program that trains leaders for professional careers with global non-profits and educational and community development organizations with an international focus.
The program is unique among graduate programs in that it combines academic study with an international experience (Italy, Ecuador, Thailand, Jamaica, or Mexico) along with substantial hands-on volunteer service. The program uses a practical, theory-to-practice approach, providing students with access to a rich array of professional networking opportunities precisely because the M.A. degree is international, multi-agency and multi-institutional in its design.
