Program Description:

Each year, the AISTS offers the AISTS MSA - Master of Advanced Studies in Sport Administration and Technology, a unique postgraduate programme in sport management endorsed by the International Olympic Committee. The programme is held in Lausanne, the Olympic Capital. Students are trained by experts from the world of sports and academics in the fields of
* Management and Economics
* Technology
* Law
* Sociology
* Medicine

Target:
The AISTS MSA is aimed at sport enthusiasts with a university degree who want to either start or accelerate a professional career in sport management. It provides scientific, multidisciplinary and practical knowledge to current and future sport managers. The AISTS MSA is labeled “Master of Advanced Studies,” which is one level above the European 'Bologna Master'.

The best academic and technology institutes of Switzerland, namely the Federal Polytechnic University of Lausanne (EPFL), the University of Lausanne, the University of Geneva and the Swiss Graduate School of Public Administration (IDHEAP), cooperate to offer students a rich education programme.

Schedule
January - July: Lectures (full-time) & team project
February- August: Research Paper
September - December: 2 months work experience

The AISTS MSA is co-signed by the Federal Polytechnic University of Lausanne (EPFL), the University of Lausanne, the University of Geneva and the Swiss Graduate School of Public Administration (IDHEAP).

Eligibility Requirements:

- Candidates must possess a university degree, recognised by the universities co-signing the AISTS MSA degree (EPFL, Universities of Lausanne and Geneva and IDHEAP)
- Candidates must be planning to pursue a career in the sports world
- Candidates must be fluent in English, have an excellent level of written English as all lectures are given in English
- Candidates should have some years of professional experience
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate a certain degree of involvement or interest in sport
- Candidates must complete and return the application form with all requested documentation
