Accreditation:

Unlike teacher education program which are formally accredited by an external body, there is no accreditation process for the discipline of Learning Sciences. Rather, the value of our degrees is revealed in the world-class status of our faculty and the success of our graduates.

Eligibility Requirements:

IU Learning Sciences has typical requirements for scores on the GRE. However, we welcome students with a wide variety of backgrounds and interests. Because most of our residential students are deeply engaged in externally-funded research projects, we are often interested in students with particular disciplinary backgrounds (e.g., math, science, computer science, language arts) who are also deeply interested in learning.

International Student Requirements:

IU Learning Sciences welcome international students, and does not have any particular requirments beyond typical scores on the TOEFL. However, as a language intensive program, spoken and written competence in English in a variety of contexts is necessary.
