Program Description:

Our Interdisciplinary Biochemistry Graduate Program brings together biochemistry faculty, students, and postdoctoral fellows from several departments to explore a wide range of scientific problems. More than 40 faculty members participate in the program with experts in practically every sub discipline of biochemistry including; cancer biology, structural biology (crystallography and NMR), membrane biochemistry, peptide biochemistry, microbial biochemistry, signal transduction, chromosome replication, molecular biology and biophysics. State-of-the-art facilities, seminars, journal clubs, and extensive faculty interactions ensure that our students are exposed to a dynamic research environment during their training, while also getting the individual attention to fully develop their scientific potential.
