Students are familiarized with the scientist/practitioner model, which emphasizes both researchand the application of problem-solving skills to organizational problems. While the primary focus of the curriculum is on the traditional personnel psychology areas of selection, training, and performance evaluation, students also learn about topics such as decision making, motivation, leadership, and organizational effectiveness.
