Program Description:
This 21-month, full time program is designed to develop knowledge, skills and competency in genetic counseling to prepare graduates for a successful career in the field. Students complete several courses in various aspects of genetics and complete a graduate research project; beginning in the second semester, they participate in extensive clinical training in a variety of pediatric, prenatal and adult clinics. Program graduates are eligible to apply to take the ABGC certification examination.
