Program Description:
The Department of Biology offers a Master of Science degree. The strengths of the department are ecology, physiology and anatomy, animal behavior, cell and molecular biology, and science education. The research interests of the graduate faculty are diverse within these categories, and specific interests of each faculty member are described on that faculty member's Faculty Information Page accessed from the biology graduate faculty directory. A student can sample broadly from these areas or focus in depth on one of the categories. Degree requirements include Biometry, Biology Seminar I and II, and a course in each of the following areas: Cell/Molecular Biology, Organismal Biology, and Ecology/Evolution. A total of 35 credits is required for the degree.
