Program Description:

IUP's Master of Arts in AECT combines adult education theories and communications media applications, preparing students to work in education and training in today's technological world. The program balances academic training, practical field experience, and individualized attention with an emphasis on communications technology. AECT students enhance their abilities to help adults learn in a variety of settings, including business and industry, healthcare, social services, and community agencies. Students also learn how to develop and use multimedia in education and training, understand adult development and learning theory application, develop leadership and management skills, and much more.
