Program Description:
Both master's programs -- in literature and in writing -- require courses in research, theory, and literature. Moreover, both programs require a culminating experience of a thesis, creative project, or master's paper; both master's programs require proficiency in a foreign language demonstrated through either coursework or a test.
International Student Requirements:
3.0 GPA in all English courses
TOFEL score (600 paper test, 250 CBT, 100iBT) or higher GRE verbal 600 or higher if student does not meet the 3.0 GPA
Undergraduate degree major or minor in English
Three faculty letters of recommendation
Student may be asked to submit a writing sample
