Program Description:

Graduate offerings in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences are designed (1) to meet the needs of students desiring specialization in an area of family and consumer sciences as preparation for professional careers in college and university teaching, business, health care, service, and design and (2) to meet the needs of family and consumer sciences teachers desiring additional preparation for teaching and the completion of the requirements for professionalizing an Indiana Teaching License.

All undergraduate programs in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences are accredited by the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences. The Coordinated Program in Dietetics is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Diet
