Program Description:
This is a research-based course, designed primarily (although not exclusively) for applicants with a biomedical background. It aims to equip students with the necessary skills to produce effective research in the field of computational genetics and bioinformatics. Although administered by the Department of Biochemistry in the first year, this multi-disciplinary course has been designed and will be taught by staff from the Departments of Biochemistry, Computing, Mathematics, Chemistry and Divisions of Medicine and Neuroscience/ Psychological Medicine, within the Graduate School of Life Sciences and Medicine.
