Program Description:

To provide advanced training in pure and applied mathematics for students preparing for professional careers in technical fields or for doctoral study in mathematics. To provide depth in mathematics coursework and pedagogy specific to the teaching of mathematics for pre-service and in-service mathematics teachers at the secondary levels.Sequence in Elementary and Middle School Mathematics Education provides advanced training in mathematics and methodology for pre-service and in-service mathematics teachers at the K-8 levels.
