Program Description:

The objective of the Master of Chemical Engineering degree program is to prepare the student for professional practice in their major discipline and to provide a foundation in the fundamental knowledge of their major.

The objective of the Master of Science in Chemical Engineering degree program is to enable the student to build a strong foundation in multiple areas of chemical engineering and to specialize in one area via research and thesis.

The doctoral degree in chemical engineering is awarded in recognition of mastery in chemical engineering and upon demonstration of an ability to make substantial creative contributions to knowledge in chemical engineering. The recipients of these degrees will be capable of a continuing effort toward advancement of knowledge and achievement in research while pursuing an academic or industrial research career.
