Program Description:

The counseling programs prepare qualified candidates for positions such as school counselor, employment counselor, community counselor and student personnel administrator. The programs are registered with the New York State Education Department. Graduates are recommended by Hofstra University for certification as school counselors. In general, candidates completing the programs are eligible for such certification in other states as well.
